Os esgotos são locais de pesca fácil e produtiva, especialmente para o aumento de nível da habilidade de pescaria ou farmar tesouros. Carpa é o peixe menos difícil de capturar no jogo e é o único peixe nos esgotos (exceto pelo único [[Peixes#Peixes_Lendários|peixe lendário]], a [[carpa mutante]]). Portanto, cada lançamento da linha resulta em uma recompença de item imediata ou uma rápida captura de Carpa. Isso faz os esgotos um local ideal para pesca por tesoures desde que Carpas não são suscetíveis a escapar.
