The Worm Bin is a craftable item that can be used to create bait for fishing. The crafting recipe is unlocked at Fishing Level 8. Creates 2-5 pieces of bait once per day.

Worm bins outside the farm

It is possible to place bins (or other equipment such as Slime Incubators or Preserves Jars) around town in many locations. This is useful to allow the player to have bait near their Crab Pots or fishing spots. If a villager walks through the square where a worm bin or other piece of equipment was left, the item will be destroyed. Below are player-created maps to indicate which tiles on the map are safe from villager-pathing.
